These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders, purchases, event and workshop bookings with The Gifts Artisan, a brand of The Gifts Artisan Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202610387K), 91 Bencoolen Street, Sunshine Plaza #01-21, Singapore 189652 (“we”, “us”). By placing an order, making a purchase or booking an event or workshop, you agree to these terms.
Gifts, favours and corporate orders
- Our gifts are curated and assembled by hand. Colours, packaging and individual items may vary slightly from photos, and we may substitute an item of equal or higher value if something becomes unavailable.
- Personalised, custom and corporate orders are quoted separately. We may ask for a deposit before production starts, and these orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
- Please check personalisation details (names, messages, logos) carefully when you approve your order. We are not responsible for errors in details you provided.
- Our soaps and candles are for external or decorative use only and are not edible. Follow the care and safety instructions provided.
Delivery and collection
- Delivery fees and timelines are confirmed with your order. Delivery times are estimates, and we are not responsible for courier delays or events outside our control.
Events and workshops
- Bookings are confirmed once payment (or the agreed deposit) is received. Prices are per participant unless stated otherwise.
- Cancellations by you: cancel at least 2 weeks (14 days) before the session for a full refund or a transfer to another date. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the session, and no-shows, are not refundable, but you may send someone else in your place.
- Cancellations by us: if we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you another date or a full refund.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian where stated, who remains responsible for them during the session.
- Please tell us about any allergies or sensitivities before the session, and follow our team’s safety guidance.
- We may take photos during events. We will ask for permission before using any photo in which a participant can be identified.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD).
- If we find a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order, and you may choose to cancel for a full refund.
Returns and refunds
- Every piece is one of a kind or made to order, so all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds, including for change of mind.
- Please check product details, sizes and personalisation carefully before confirming your order.
- If your order arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us at takemehome @ thegiftsartisan.com within 7 days of receiving it, with photos. We will review it and, where possible, repair or replace the item.
- Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Singapore law, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including photos, designs, text and logos, belongs to The Gifts Artisan or its licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Brand names of products we sell belong to their respective owners.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, website, events or workshops. Our total liability for any order or booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.
Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order or book applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
